Benefits of Walking

Submitted by jane.wilkins on

We took a short walk this week to enjoy the good weather, get some fresh air and stay fit. Walking is considered a safe activity during pregnancy because it works the cardiovascular system without taxing muscles and joints. Physical activity also helps improve mood throughout pregnancy and after birth. Keep moving forward, Crusaders!

Growth Mindset

We've been learning about Growth Mindset. A mindset is a particular way to look at the world. Someone with a Fixed Mindset might believe that they are as smart as they are going to get, that challenges are to be avoided, and that mistakes can never be made. Someone with a Growth Mindset might believe that their brain can always lean more, that challenges are to be worked through, and that mistakes are just a part of the learning process. Here are some quotes that demonstrate a Growth Mindset.

Submitted by jane.wilkins on

Last week Legacy teachers and staff were treated in immeasurable ways: a sweet roll breakfast; a lovely set of measuring spoons, cups and strainers; a yummy pizza lunch; a darling book titled What If There Were No Teachers; a beautiful piece of jewelry and adorable tissue paper flower measuring stick decorations.

  • Our Teachers and Staff MEASURE UP In Every Way!
  • Thanks so much for helping us learn to . . . Measure Up Too!
