We were able to experience something remarkable thanks to generous donors who made this field trip possible. We were able to visit Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience. Mrs. Kristi Murdock shared her knowledge of Vincent Van Gogh with us prior to our trip and gave us some background information. He is considered to be one of the best Post-Impressionist painters. Van Gogh is known for his use of color and bold, dramatic brush strokes which expressed emotion and added a feeling of movement to his works. This exhibit used projection to make the artwork come alive. We were mesmerized as masterpieces morphed and moved. It was engaging because we felt as if we stepped into Van Gogh's world. What a great day to be a Crusader!
