The Director of Career & Technical Education at Utah Valley University, Kim Chiu, came and shared information about educational opportunities and scholarships at UVU. She described the diverse programs available and encouraged our students to continue their educational momentum. Director Chiu emphasized that 1-2 year programs will increase their earning capacity, and credits earned in MTEC courses can count toward UVU requirements.
The CTE department also brought gifts for our students and their children. Through UVU Service Learning, Campus Outreach, and department donations they collected toys, clothes, and blankets for the children and personal items for the moms. Thank you for your thoughtfulness!
