This spooky project gave us the opportunity to express creativity, visit with friends and make a fun Halloween decoration. It started with a 2-liter bottle, a balloon and some wire to construct the form for the ghost’s body. The next step was to starch the gauzy fabric and drape it over the form. After the starch dried, it was time to add features and details to give each apparition some personality. Arts and crafts help students develop lifelong characteristics of decision-making, persistence, focus, accountability and confidence. Thanks to Cindy, Marcy and Sue for leading this great activity!
