Christmas came early thanks to UVU! A team from the Career & Technical Education office delivered gifts for our students and their children. Through UVU Service Learning, Campus Outreach, and department donations, they collected books, toys, clothes, and blankets for the children and personal items for the moms.
Kim Chiu, the Director of Career & Technical Education at Utah Valley University, shared information about educational opportunities and scholarships at UVU. She described the diverse programs available and encouraged our students to continue their educational momentum. Director Chiu emphasized that 1-2 year programs will increase their earning capacity, and credits earned in MTEC courses can count toward UVU requirements.
We shared a yummy lunch of pizza, salad and grapes together. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
