A certain jolly person with a white beard and a red suit arrived shaking his jingle bells. Everyone had a chance to visit with Santa, but some little ones experienced stranger anxiety! Santa’s visit opened a day full of fun activities!

Mrs. Boothe read a funny Christmas story called Are You Grumpy Santa?  Sometimes, even the merriest, most cheerful guy on the planet wakes up on the wrong side of the bed. Santa is ready to throw in the towel, when at his very last house he is reminded of what Christmas is really about - the gift of love.

Next, were some crafts for the children. They made jingle bell bracelets and decorated felt Christmas trees with holiday foam stickers.

We shared a yummy lunch of pasta, salad and breadsticks from Olive Garden together.

Students attended each class on a shortened schedule. At the end of the day, everyone received gift bags filled with treasures from multiple donors.  UVU Career & Technical Education office delivered gifts for our students and their children. Through UVU Service Learning, Campus Outreach, and department donations, they collected books, toys, clothes, and blankets for the children and personal items for the moms. We appreciate your generosity!

Merry Christmas Crusaders!
