Service – Tying Quilts

Submitted by jane.wilkins on

It is common for many people to be so involved in their busy lives and challenges that they feel overwhelmed. An antidote is to do something for someone else and change our perspective. During November, we were challenged to focus on gratitude and serve others. Our students tied several quilts and later trimmed them with binding to be donated to those in need. It was a new experience for some, but they soon became proficient. It was fun to work together and rewarding to give back to the community.
