End of Year Festivities

Wednesday, we enjoyed a barbeque lunch of hot dogs, salad, chips, watermelon and ice cream bars. After lunch, we celebrated the hard work of our students as Fourth Term Awards were announced. Anonymous students secretly heart-attacked the staff and faculty’s doors with qualities they appreciated. Finally, yearbooks were distributed. Thanks yearbook staff for a great keepsake!

Spring Fling

We enjoyed several fun activities before school let out for Spring Break. Jewelry Making – Star David, a teacher at Cherry Creek Elementary, brought her extensive bead collection and other supplies and each student was able to customize and create a pair of earrings for themselves. Paper Flowers – Mrs. Boothe demonstrated how to make paper flowers out of crepe paper. Then everyone got to work making their own crepe paper flowers. Walk – When the weather is good, we enjoy taking a half-mile walk together.

Governor's Utah Prevention Day May 3, 2018

Governor Gary R. Herbert has declared May 3, 2018, as “Utah Prevention Day!”

SCHOOL CELEBRATIONS

Utah Prevention Day gives secondary schools around the state an opportunity to celebrate the prevention lessons that students have learned throughout the year. Teachers can review and reinforce those life skills taught before students leave for the summer. We want to protect our students from the dangers of drugs, under-age drinking, violence, crime and bullying.
